Originally from all over, but based in Guildford, The Savage Jazz have refined a truly distinct sound. Grafting together elements of rock, reggae, funk & blues, their music is neither savage nor jazz, but rather Savage Jazz™, something far grander and all-together better. We're not really a fan of genres to be honest, they pigeon-hole music - and that's missing the point - but people often ask what sort of music The Savage Jazz play. To that we say, come along, see a gig, decide for yourself!
Feel free to look around, chillax and soak up the Savage atmosphere.

News
7th June '07: British Longboarding Union Series Weekender in JERSEY!
So the good folk at Pura Vida Records thought us worthy of a plane flight to the wonderful Island of Jersey this coming weekend for a spot of music alongside some surfing legends. Cheers guys, it's going to be phat. We're playing at the awesome Watersplash Bar, and although added very last minute, we're seriously excited about our first kinda-overseas gig. If you're in Jersey, visiting or love us enough to travel across, it'd be grand to have you there, we promise to set up a boogie.
7th June '07: BEACH BREAK LIVE THIS COMING MONDAY!
We've been waiting for this one for a while. It's our way of really getting the summer underway in style, and we simply can't wait. The weather forecast looks admirable, and the lineup is simply stellar, so it's guaranteed to be safer than Paris Hilton's recently vacated prison-cell. Tickets are still available, we believe, so if you're bored of revision/work/dissertation/exams etc this weekend, get involved, check out the Beach Break Live site and come enjoy summer as it was meant to be.
3rd June '07: SUNDAY EXPRESS CD
Hello all. If you're not Sunday Express readers, well you should be over the next few weeks. At some point in the near future, likely during June, we will have some of our tracks featured on one of those rather nice free CD's papers often do. It's a massive opportunity to spread the Savage, so if you want to pick up some tracks free of charge, check it out. We'll be updating this with more information as soon as we have further details.
3rd June '07: New Dates Added
We've added a bunch more summer dates. Following with tradition, we will be very much about in the South West this summer. Obviously we've got the awesome show at Beach Break Live lined up, but alongside that, we're also playing The Reef Surf Lodge in Newquay, The Cuckoo Bar in Truro and a bunch of others. It's going to be a fun summer!
3rd June '07: Updated Flash Galleries, Website
We've updated the Flash galleries with new code, which now have larger and higher quality images and a funky new thumbnail window. Check them out here. There are more updates coming soon, in the form of an updated Discography, a new Bio and some other jazz that'll make you smile.
13th May '07: MIXTAPE VOODOO NOW AVAILABLE ON iTUNES!!!
Our new album, Mixtape Voodoo has made it's double quick way onto the iTunes Music Store. This is great for us, and great for you, as you can now get involved with à la carte purchasing or go large and buy the whole thing. Either way, we love your support so cheers to everybody whose be kind enough to exchange a few of their pounds for our tunes so far. If you're not sure, check us out on iTunes - there are 30 second previews of the whole album and Mixtape Voodoo is stocked in all the iTunes Music Stores worldwide. Check it out, either by searching, or by shooting over to the store page and clicking the direct link. Cheers!
17th May '07: Battle Of The Bands Final @ The Boileroom
As those of you who were there will know, we won our Battle Of The Bands heat at The Boileroom a week or two back and are now through to the final on the 19th June. Being a battle of the bands where the audience gets a massive say, it'd be particularly spiftastic if lots of you could make it down to lend your support and generally cheer our asses on. We anticipate some stiff competition, so whatever the outcome, the tunes on show should be class. See you there guys!
13th May '07: THE ALBUM IS HERE!!!
Mixtape Voodoo is here, and it's hot. Thanks so much for bearing with us, it's been worth the wait. We've got 1000 of the hot muthas and we want them in your hands. You can buy them right here online for £4.99 or grab one at a gig and save us the postage in exchange for a live Savaging. Either way, get involved, listen and then tell us what you think.
We're having an official album launch party where things are going to get seriously crazy™ on the 29th June at the Boileroom, and are hoping that in the meantime you'll find some time to funk along to the CD. We'll keep you posted on that, but it should be awesome. The brilliant Dan Driver is going to be helping us organise things so basically watch this space - more to come! Cheers for your patience while we've worked on Mixtape Voodoo, we think you're going like what you hear!
13th May '07: Battle Of The Bands, Free Movements & Beach Break Live
So, we've had some exciting things happening alongside the album recently. Thanks to everyone who voted for us in the recent Battle of The Bands night at the boileroom and to all the other bands who played. There was some great tunes on show and it was really special to win it.
Last Friday, we also played at Dan Driver's Free Movement's night at The Boileroom and skanked it up with some awesome local talent and checked out the ball-endangering skill of Pyrokinesis and their fire show. Wicked night, wicked cause, wickedly organised. Cheers Dan for having us.
Finally, this summer we're playing the mainstage at Beach Break Live, an upcoming Student oriented festival in Cornwall. With confirmed headliners like Zero 7 and Groove Armada, this should be a pretty special coming together of music, surf and sun, so if you're up for a hell of a festival, and want to see us play to hundreds of boogie-keen students, then check out the website here for tickets. We've got a particular affinity for the West country and are adding a few other dates around this show to make it into something of a tour. Touring, Summer, Savage Jazz how now?! Sounds like our kind of thing what say!!
29th April '07: Mixtape Voodoo Is Still Coming!
Unfortunately, due to the replicators being slow (to put it bluntly), we are still waiting to take delivery of Mixtape Voodoo. We're massively sorry about this, but we are refusing to let us get it down. It's been a beast of a journey this album, and we're not going to stop smiling on the final straight. Please bear with us as it IS coming. We've been promised delivery by the 10th, and so you guys should have it on or before. Pre-Orders remain open, and we will be dispatching the pre-orders one day ahead of general release as originally planned. Thanks so much to all the people who have pre-ordered so far, we owe you guys and it's awesome to see such support. Trust us, it's on our way, and we think it will be worth the wait. For now, we leave you with the album cover as un petit aperitif. The main course may be a little late, but as you know.. good things and all that. Cheers guys, we love you.x

April '07: Tumbledown Dick Tickets
It's
been far too long away from the Tumbley! Thankfully we are
back this week and it would be awesome if we could play to
a full house. Tickets can be bought online
here and obviously on the door on Wednesday
night. We are headlining with support from Abel Hans and
Arthur. We're looking forward to it!

March '07: BREAKING NEWS - MIXTAPE VOODOO - 1st
May!!!
PRE-ORDER HERE
So...
the wait is nearly over. Entitled Mixtape Voodoo, our debut
album will be released on May 1st. It's been a long time in
the pipe, but we make no apologies for that. We've been
recording like crazy to get it sounding spiffy and we're
finally approaching happiness. The mixed tracks are going
off for mastering this week and hence we can say with
confidence that we're nearly there. The album features 12
tracks, and the playlist (in no particular order) goes
something like this:
Savage Jazz
End Of The Song
Sign Your Name Here
Mockingbird
So Long
Freedom Pirate
Nylon
All Or Nothing
Show Me
Give It Back
Wax
Innocent Fool
The album can be pre-ordered for the princely sum of £4.99
delivered directly to your door. Pre-orders will be dispatched via first class
post on the 30th April, and should be in your hands on
the 1st. Pre-orders will cease
at 11:59pm on the 29th,
prior to general release availability on the 1st of May.
Get involved people, pre-order and get your hands on the action
earlier than anyone else!
The album art is getting there also, and we're planning to
get some serious fan participation going on. Without
wanting to give our secrets away... we have a rather funky
idea up our sleeve that we'd love to include you in at this
weekend's Jagz gig. We're playing Jagz this Friday evening,
so if you can possibly make it, then you have a good chance
of being immortalised on the front cover of the album. So
come along, please! It's going to be a sweet gig, and it
would be wicked to rock out to a big house.

April '07: Beach Break Live
Tis
the season to be Savage... tra-la-la-la-la (etc....). Well,
nearly. Summer is clearly what The Savage Jazz are all
about, and we've been lucky enough to be asked to play this
year's Beach Break Live Festival in Polzeath, Cornwall. This
is one interesting idea for a festival blending upcoming
student talent with established artists like Mr. Scruff
and Groove Armada. We've got a 4.20 slot on the main
stage and come rain or shine we are going to be making
you skank. This looks set to be our first festival of
the year and we're going to be playing all the songs
from the new album. Add that to the fact that the West
Country has a special place in Savage lore, then
hell...hold tight hunny because we're excited.

April '07: Wedgewood Rooms
We finally got
down to the South coast last night and played at The
Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth, a rather naughty venue if
there was one. We just want to say a massive thanks to
everyone at the venue for some seriously impressive
professionalism, it's not often that we come across people
who are so epically friendly and damn good at what they do
all in one package. Cheers guys. We also shot a video of
the and recorded a live multi-track of the gig, so keep a
lookout for clips, or maybe even the whole thing in the not
too distant future. Anyway, 'twas an awesome night, and
we're hoping to get back there sooner rather than later,
but for the time being, check out some of the
photo's from a gorgeously sweaty night.

March '07: Delta FM Live Recording *Download*
So we were on the
Ray-De-O tonight, and it was good times. We played Wax and
Mockingbird and had a short interview and you can hear it
ALL here. Listen live in your web browser or
right click and "Save As" to download. We had a wicked
time playing the session, it was brilliantly ghetto, and
although everything is quite raw, we think it's a cool
live-lounge kinda sound. Massive thanks to Quin for
helping us get a clean recording of the session, we are
indebted to you hombre. Check it out peeps and let us
know your thoughts!
5th
March '07: The Savage Jazz Live Radio Session on Delta FM @
8.15PM!
This
Monday, a pre-recorded session with our live selves will be
being broadcast on Delta FM! Delta is a regional station
covering much of Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey, but best
of all you can tune in online for clear reception nationwide! We are
on James O'Neil's evening show, and we think we are
going to be on round about 8:15, but his show runs from
7 through till 10 so if you want to be sure, listen to
the whole thing. If you're local, tune in on either 97.1
or 101.6-102FM and let them know what you think. We're
hoping for a good response, check it out peeps!

February '07: ALBUM PRE-ORDERS NOW!!! *HOT
NEWS*
So
we've stuck up a few demo tracks from the forthcoming album
over on our MySpace site over the past couple of weeks and
now we're excited to say that the album is NOW
available here for online pre-order for the rather
reasonable price of £4.99 including free
worldwide delivery. The
album is going to have at least 11 tracks, although,
like the title, this number isn't set in stone. Release
should be in the first week of April, but we're not
going to put an exact date on things until nearer the
time to be sure that we don't end up rushing for the
finish.
If you pre-order the album, your copy will be
dispatched
by first class post on the day before the official
release to ensure that
you end up with The Savage goodness in your hands before
anyone else. Online pre-order can be made via paypal,
credit card or debit card here.

December '07: Recreation Road
Mini-Review
Following up from
their interview with the band a few weeks back,
RockLouder Online have been kind enough to do a short
and extremely positive Recreation Road mini-review. We
call it a mini-review, because they only had one of the
3-track Recreation Road demo samplers that get sent out
to press and similar. All the same, it's a first rate
review with a lot of good stuff to say, 4 stars they
gave us. Tally ho! We're pretty chuffed with it. Many
thanks RockLouder! You can check it out
here.

December '07: Tom Piggott gets Savage
We've
got ourselves a new drummer now, Tom Piggott. Women say
he's hot, we say he's ridonculous at drums and has an aura
that is all too Savage. Anyhoow, he's our new drummer and
he's fully up to speed with all our tracks. Ok, so we've
said this before.... but hey, we're going to say it again.
We think we're well and truly settled now and it's wicked
to have Tom around. We're looking forward to the new album
and lots of gigs to come, if you want to check out Tom's
mug, take a look at the new photo's over at the Myspace, or
the new gallery from Jagz here.

February '07: Delta FM & Forthcoming GIgs!
Anyone checking
the Myspace will have seen that we have a bunch of gigs
lined up at the moment, even including one as far away as
August. We're like boy scout's we are - be prepared. Also,
on the first of March, we are hitting the airwaves for the
first time in a while to play a live set and interview for
the good folk of Delta FM. You can listen either online,
via their website, or tune in either on 97.1 or
101.6-102FM. We're not exactly sure what the format is
going to be, but it may well include some live lounge
style first tastes of our new stuff destined for the
album.

February '07: Long Awaited Updates!
Firstly, a
massive apology for the lack of updates here over the past
few months. Our former manager Tony has stepped down to the
smaller role of technical and graphical chappie due to some
personal issues. He's always been the webmaster, but he's
been busy with other stuff for a time. Anyways, he is back
to website updating and from now on the site will be seeing
regular updates as in the past once again. We're going to
be writing an updated biography, adding the latest dates
and a few new photo galleries.

December '06: The Savage Jazz Interviewed at
RockLouder.co.uk!
This
week The Savage Jazz were lucky enough to make the front
page of RockLouder music website following an interview
with the guys. Hopefully, you'll find it an interesting
read, it's pretty honest, and covers everything from
touring to birdworld! Check it out guys and leave a
comment if you feel the desire! The interview can be
found here: RockLouder.

December '06: Rhumba Baby!
Last night at Bar Rhumba
was awesome, and we just wanted to say a massive thank you
to everyone who came, especially the awesome girl who's
knew us from back in the heady Newquay days of 2005! Thanks
also to Gareth at NobleJam, your a legend and a gent, many
thanks for the great mix, the hard work and general
coolness. That's officially it for this year gig-wise,
we're playing a few little unofficial house-parties and
what have you, but we are going into recording mode now,
and will emerge in the new year that much closer to the New
Album, and even more stoked to gig.
That's not to say there won't be lots of Savage excitement
going on. We have some really spanking stuff coming up over
the next few weeks including Podcasts, new photo's and
Ghetto Giveaways (the free rogue distribution of scabby
home burnt CD's infused with Savage tunes old and new, in a
metropolian centre near you). Take it easy ladies and
genteel-folk, keep checking the website,
MySpace and Forum and have an awesome
Christmas & New Year - Savage
style!

December '06: Bar Rhumba - Huge Upcoming
Gig
Next
Wednesday The Savage Jazz play Bar Rhumba, on Shaftesbury
Avenue, nr Piccadilly Circus. This is a simply legendary
London venue and a great gig for us. We're obviously
looking forward to it massively, but we're really hoping
that you guys can all turn out to make it a particularly
special night. Bar Rhumba has quite a big capacity, and we
want to do our Savage bit and bring a worthy crowd. If
you've ever got turned on by anything remotely Savage, we
recommend you come. We are onstage at 10.40 as the top
support act, in a line up of about 6 acts, so it should be
a great value night with a touch of festive flavour!

December '06: Savage Jazz @ The Safer Sex
Ball
The
Safer Sex Ball is something of an Exeter University
tradition. Actually, scrub that... it's more of an
institution and is, without a doubt THE best ball around.
The basic gist involves lots of sauce from both sides of
the gender aisle, and all round fun and frolics. Rich and
Giles, as ex-Exeter lads understand, and for Alex and Tom,
the initiation is sure to be stellar, because this year The
Savage Jazz make their Exeter Safer Sex Ball debut.
The SJ are
headling the Lower Exam Hall at the SSB on the 2nd February
2007. We are going to
be playing a headling set that won't overlap with any other
kinky frolics, and it's going to be sexy in a whole new
way. We're all genuinely excited about this gig, it's going
to be a real homecoming, and it's going to be great to get
back to Exeter after all these months. Ally that with the
vast quantities on semi-nudity and it's a sure-fire winner.
Keep an eye out for more details as they come in.

December '06: Swiiinndon.... Just rolls of the tongue
doesn't it!
We had a wicked gig in at
The Victoria in Swindon last weekend, playing to a top
crowd in a top venue. We'll be back to Swindon in the New
Year as Dave, the grand legend who runs The Vic, has
promised us a return gig in 2007. Now, while Swindon was
brilliant all around, The Vic had a particularly norty loo.
We took the opportunity to get some photos shot while we
were in there, and although we got the occasional odd look
for being huddled around a urnial with a camera in our
face, we were pretty pleased with the results. Check 'em
out here. Massive thanks to
Dave, The Vic and above all the groovy people of
Swindon, one of whom even took it upon herself to tell
our Manager that he looks like the drummer from McFly.
He was offended until she told him that the drummer from
McFly was hot! We have one word for you Mr. Lucy....
flirt!

November '06: Tom Cattermole - New Purveyor of Bass In Ya
Face!
So,
we've had ourselves a little change of line-up and stepping
into Brown's shoes, we offer you the genius of Tom
Cattermole, a lad who is quite frankly, pant-dampeningly
good at Bass. We all want to start calling him TomCat, but
it's yet to be seen whether this will be acceptable! Also,
it turns out that in January he is moving into the house
next to us on good ole' Recreation Road, which is
stunningly good fortune. With the prospect of Alex moving
in, we are going to be closer than sardines in a can...
Except we don't smell of fish and we get on like ham and
egg. Tom will be playing with us sooner rather than later,
and we have penciled in Bar Rhumba on the December 13th for
our first full gig together.

November '06: Album Release - March/April
2007!!!
After
much talk and much expectation, we are beginning to move
towards the new album. Although the official release date
hasn't yet been pinned down, it is likely to fall somewhere
in March/April. January is going to be a month of hardcore
recording, which we are keeping largely gig free, so fear
not. In those horrible winter months think not that we are
idle, for to gig we appear not - 'cause believe us we are
ferreting like ferrets in the studio. One things for
sure... it's going to be fatter than a fat boy's
ass.
29th
November '06: The Fly - New Oxford Street!
The Fly in New Oxford
St. - part of the BarFly chain of music venues - is one
of the
London venues. The Savage
Jazz, lucky things that we are, are playing at The Fly on
January 15th. This is arguably our most high-profile date
yet, and thus we are uttely stoked about the gig. The on
stage time is as of yet undecided, but we will be keeping
you up to date with the details as they are confirmed.
Please, please, please come support us for this date, it's
going to be outstandingly awesome, and after the Crimbo
break we're going to be itching to play some new content!
29th
November '06: Cancelations & Gig Alterations
Unfortunately we have had
to cancel our two forthcoming gigs at The Star in
Guildford. Apologies to anyone who was planning to come to
these dates we are totally gutted, but fear not, we will be
back. Guildford is our home town, our G-Town if you will,
so it's going to be awesome to play there again in the new
year. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks as we are
beginning to start booking venues for 2007. We're going to
try and keep January largely gig free to work on the
upcoming album. That said we have already booked two rather
norty dates... it's going to be hard to stay away from
gigging!
Also, Pop, which we were due to headline on the 13th
December is being refurbished so the whole night has been
shifted to Bar Rhumba on Shaftesbury Avenue. This gig is
going to be Ridiculously cool with a capital R. We were
originally slated to play at Jerusalem, but then the good
people at Noble Jam Promotions thought that Pop (which
frankly we love more) was going to be a better venue, and
from there we have moved on again to the
even
more
funky Bar
Rhumba. We are on stage at 10.40 and it should be amazing.
It should be something of a Christmas party and we can't
wait!

November '06: THE SAVAGE JAZZ ON THE iTUNES MUSIC
STORE!!!
Big
news ladies and gentlesavages - Recreation Road is now
available for purchase on the iTunes Music Store! The album
is priced at £3.95, with songs retailing individually for
79p. The album is available in all iTunes Music Stores
worldwide, so wherever you might be, you can get your dose
of Savage medicine. It's all very exciting, we suddenly
have a level of distribution that is entirely new to us.
And don't fret, we get a very decent cut of the profits,
more than 50% as it happens, and as there are no CD
production costs we are most definately not
getting
screwed by the system! You can check out the album at
your local iTMS or by heading over to
the Store Page.

November '06: What A Weekend!!!
So, it is Monday, and the
weekend has elapsed. That's a total shame, but it was quite
the weekend. We played to some genuinely brilliant crowds.
The Star crowd were small yet perfectly formed, and good
cripes, you guys were fantabulous. Massive respect to James
Dorset at The Star, he's one of the best
promoters/soundmen/techies we have ever had the pleasure of
working with. He has done great things with The Star and we
can't wait to get back next Tuesday! The Backline gig was
awesome, it was good to pay to a pumped up audience, we
just want to say thanks to everyone who came along and made
it a night to remember. We are going to try and hit Reading
as promised in the coming months and hopefully will be back
at Backline sooner rather than later. Cheers guys, thanks
to everyone who made it an awesome weekend, checkback in a
few days for photos!

November '06: Lark In The Park
Kinda
last minute, but we have just bagged ourselves a gig
playing at The Lark In The Park in Islington this Friday
night. So, three gigs in one weekend. Savage! Sadly Rich
can't make it on such short notice so we thought we would
play a little acoustic set. We open the bill at 8.00PM and
can't wait to lay down some serious laid back shizzle. See
you there ladies and gentlelads.

November '06: A Savage Weekend
We've
just had the most brilliant weekend, playing two completely
different venues on consecutive nights, but having equally
spifftastic times at both. First up was The Troubadour on
Friday night where we played to a packed house and drunk
lots of mojitos. It was such a completely class night,
we've been wanting to play The Troubadour for yonks, and it
lived up to all our expectations and more. The opening
band, The Crane Brothers were also particularly kick-ass,
they had some serious tunes and a killer stage presence,
thanks to you guys for such awesome support! It was also
cool to meet Tim and Quin, the most Savage of The Savages,
thanks for all your support guys. Saturday night we found
ourselves closer to home playing The Tumbledown Dick in
Farnborough to frankly the most wicked crowd we have yet
experienced. Thanks to everyone who rocked up and boogied
on down. We even ran a boogie-off (first prize a copy of
Recreation Road) and it went down so well, STAT, that we
think we might make it a regular! Thanks to everyone for a
truly Savage weekend, there are loads of photos from the
weekend up over at the galleries, go check them all out!
This ship is seaworthy and The Savage Jazz are at the
wheel.
This coming weekend we have another double date to look
forward to. Saturday 11th we are due to grace Backline
Studios in Guildford, which excitingly is one of our first
official Under 18's gigs. If your legally cool enough to be
too young to drink - aka under 18 - then navigate
yourselves to Backline this Saturday. Savageness guaranteed
on entry. Sunday night we are playing the first of a bunch
of gigs at The Live & Loud Bar in Guildford. It's
attached to The Star pub and we're headlining. See you all
then peeps. Muchos Love, The Savage
Jazz.

October '06: More Gig's, Including U18's!!!
*NEW*
Young
savages have bayed for blood long enough, finally, we have
an Under 18's venue booked! It's soon too, we are playing
at Backline Studios in Guildford on Saturday 11th November
at 8pm. An U18's gig really has been far too long in the
coming, and we can't wait to play to the both the elders
and those still to come of Savage age. It's a small little
venue but it's our home town and we are excited enough to
wet our pants. Turn up, or we'll give up music for good!
Also, we have done a swap. We decided that we wanted to
play the uber lovely Pop more than the also extremely
lovely Jerusalem, and so we will be playing at Pop on Soho
Street, London on the 13th December at about 8.30 or so.
That time is subject to change, but that should be about
right. This weekend is The Troubadour and The Tumbledown
Dick, oh what good times we're going to have! See you all
then Savages!
25th October '06: Radio 1 MySpace Top 8!!!!
Monday morning brought
huge amounts of excitement at camp Savage as we found out
that Radio 1 have selected us for this weeks Top 8 on their
MySpace. Check it all out on the Radio 1 MySpace and leave them a
comment letting them know they made the right choice! It
means huge amounts of exposure and is a great indication
that somebody, somewhere at Radio 1 knows the words "The
Savage Jazz". Muuuuffaaaasa... say it again! We want to
say a huge thank you to Radio 1 for their support, we
are all masses fans of the station, in particular the
great Huw Stephens, and if you could help us bring our
music to the attention of the nation we would be deeply
indebted! So, it's exciting news, and we're chuffed to
bits! Oh, and Jerusalem are having us back. We shall be
there on the 18th November and lets be honest, it's
going to be phatty bom-batty!
21st
October '06: Bullingdon Gig!
Ever So Much Hello! We are
off to The Bully in Oxford - home of the brainy folk -
tomorrow, and we want you to be there! We are starting at
10PM and are being supported by a band called Hitchmo, who,
as far as their MySpace suggests ought to offer a healthy
and complimentary serving of pre-savage aperitif. You can
grab flyers for the gig here if you feel like
promoting us, and if your not as keen as that, still try
and get down and check us out. We have also stuck up a
bunch of photos from a recent rehearsal, so rock on to
the galleries and have a gander. Cheers!

October '06: Lyrics Online
Awooga
Savages, Awooga! In line with popular demand, I have now
been provided with the definitive lyrics to The Savage Jazz
catalogue by none other than the wordsmith himself, Giles
Bennett. You can check them all out at the newly created
Lyrics page. In other news, Slow Down now seems to be
working over at The MySpace, so have a listen and tell us
what you think. Forums, Savages, Forums - that is the way
of the true savage. We're off to The Bullingdon in Oxford
this weekend so try and come along if you can, it would
rule to see some of you there! Till next full moon

October '06: Slow Down Available
So, there's been a fair
bit of clamouring for some new content huh? Well, when our
fans ask, we provide. Slow Down, the bands latest track has
been uploaded over at MySpace. It's a beautiful, defiantly
melancholy number, and it sounds tremendous. At the moment,
there seems to be some issue with the MySpace media
player, and it doesn't seem
to be allowing people to play it. We are aware of this
problem - it sucks, but it appears to be a MySpace
issue, and the word on the street is that after about a
day the problem should be resolved. Keep checking back,
we have our beady-eyes on MySpace, and will take further
action if it isn't sorted by tomorrow. Let us all know
what you think of the tune via the MySpace, and
specifically The Forum. The boards are well
and truly ready to take off so get involved and tell
your mates!

October '06: Oxford & Surrey Gigs
This coming Sunday we head
up to Oxford for a gig at The Bullingdon Arms public
drinking establishment. A well-renowned music venue, The
Bullingdon will be our first trip to Oxford in a fair
little while and it's going to be great to be back. We're
hoping that as many of our Oxford based fans can make it
along to the gig, we are being supported by the fine lads
from Hitchmo, and after the gig-dryness this weekend we
cann'e wait to get there! We've also scheduled in another
home date, this time playing Saturday 4th November at The
Tumbledown Dick in Farnborough and are nothing short of
moist to get it on. As usual we have other dates working
their way down the pipeline, so hopefully we should have
even more to tell you about soon. Take it easy Savages.

October '06: Jerusalem Photo's
Last Saturday we found
ourselves in the wunderbar Jerusalem, in a sexy nook
between Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street. We
headlined to a full house and had an incredibly fun night,
we hope some of you guys managed to make it and enjoyed the
set as much as us! Well we managed to snap a picture or two
and they can be found right now, over at the galleries
pages.
